The coldest day of the year I came up with a new one. Here me first before judging.#1 I look at the injury report scratch the players not playing.
Then any player doubtful I will scratch. Questionable players I will put in
but later on I will check.
#2 I will set my own point spread on the games without even looking at the Vegas line.
Movement changes when the questionable players are ruled out. And once that happens
I refigure my spread adding or subtracting.
#3 Then finally I look at the Vegas line. True value comes in when I compare the two.
Let's say I make the favorite -7 and Vegas has it -4. Difference of 3. I look for the biggest
difference and make those my picks.
#4 Once I set my line I look for BTB games and subtract the road team on the BTB -3 points.
The home team on a BTB -1 point. Late night games may also be played so watch out later
as I examine the injury list for possible play.
